The NACM Northwest Foundation is coming into 2017 with great anticipation and expectation. Just as NACM Oregon and NACM Inland Northwest merged in 2016, so also has the NACM Oregon Foundation been recently reorganized and renamed NACM Northwest Foundation.

As many NACM members know, the primary purpose of the Foundation is to provide financial support for aspiring credit professionals. The myriad of opportunities to grow in the world of business credit involves accreditation classes, local educational offerings, and attendance at regional and national conferences. The Foundation means to support and encourage participation at all such events.

Our world of business in the Northwest clearly benefits from quality business credit being extended and accounts receivable expertly managed. By providing information and experience NACM Northwest and the Foundation help to grow the pool of individuals and credit departments that support northwest businesses.

Obviously it takes donations coming in to support scholarships going out. We have an exciting “BBQ and Bluegrass” fundraising event happening on October 7, 2017. This is a dinner and dance event that will be held at Langdon Farms. You don’t want to miss this! There will be live music, quality prizes, auction opportunities, and other fun events planned in addition to good eats and fun foot-stomping.

Look for more details coming and register early as space is limited. Fundraising golf tournaments are also planned for both sides of the Cascades. The immaculate Coeur d ‘Alene Resort Golf Course was the site for the 2016 outing and reservations have already been made to host the same for 2017.

Look forward also to receiving an invitation to make your own tax deductible donation to the Foundation. As indicated, your support contributes mightily to the excellence in our profession, not to mention the excellence of our business environment in the Northwest. Contributions may be made out to the NACM Northwest Foundation and sent to NACM Northwest. For more information please feel welcome to access the NACM website.

If you want to add administrative experience to your resume’ you may also wish to get personally involved by becoming a member of the Foundation and possibly even a Board member. Step out!  Let us know who you are and send us an email.

Opportunities are available!

We are a select community folks! Let’s continue to linkup and support one another. Don’t miss out. And………………….We thank you!
